Starting a Street Church? What’s a service like?

Church Service

Street church service varies from week to week and location to location. Let the Holy Spirit and your members and attendees be your guide.

Expect to spend ten or fifteen minutes connecting over beverages and snacks. Each service can contain but is not limited to:

  • Christian Music

  • Opening Prayer

  • Time for Individuals to Praise, Give Thanks and ask for Prayers

  • Share Scriptures

  • Sermon/Bible Study

  • Testimonies

  • Communion

  • Baptism

  • Concluding Prayer

DBS
A great place to start is a simple Discovery Bible Study, such as the “Journey of Jesus” and the “Ten Stories of Hope” from DBSgroups.com. Both are encouraging and can stand alone.

Questions we seek to address as opportunities arise:

  • How do I receive Jesus as my Lord and Savior?

  • How do I walk closer to God?

  • How do I love and forgive others?

  • How do I receive God’s forgiveness?

  • How do I walk with God daily?

  • How do I find spiritual rest/peace/joy?

  • How does the bible apply to me?

  • How do I prepare for spiritual battles?

  • How do we support one another as a functioning church?
